الترجمة الفورية في السياق العسكري
نظم قسم الترجمة في كلية الآداب ندوته العلمية الثانية والموسومة (الترجمة الفورية في السياق العسكري) يوم الخميس في تمام الساعة العاشرة صباحا/ قاعة الاستاذ الدكتور عبدالحسين الفتلي وبحضور السيد عميد كلية الآداب الأستاذ الدكتور حسين داخل البهادلي المحترم والسيد معاون العميد للشؤون العلمية والدراسات العليا الأستاذ الدكتور مثنى فاضل الذيب .
وادار الندوة رئيس قسم الترجمة الاستاذ المساعد الدكتور احمد کریم سالم وقدمها الاستاذ المساعد الدكتور ابراهيم طلعت إبراهيم .
وتضمنت الندوة دور المترجم العسكري في الحروب عبر التاريخ عموما ودوره في العراق بعد العام ٢٠٠٣ وكذلك قدم المحاضر أبرز التحديات التي يواجهها المترجم الفوري في السياق العسكري على مستوى المصطلح والثقافة والمشكلات التي قد يتعرض اثناء نقل المعلومة في ظروف أمنية حرجة.
وبين اهم الاخفاقات التي يواجهها المترجم الفوري وأشار إلى البرنامج الأوربي لإعداد المترجم الفوري في السياق العسكري .
وهدفت الندوة إلى تقديم شرح واف عن عمل المترجم الفوري العسكري .وكيفية التعامل مع الموقف بين الماضي والحاضر.
Simultaneous Interpreting in a Military Context
The Translation Department at the College of Arts organised its scientific symposium titled Simultaneous Interpreting in Military Context on Thursday at eight o’clock in the morning in the hall of Prof. Abdul Hussein Al-Fatli (Ph.D.). It is worth noting that Dean of the College of Arts Prof. Hussein Dakhil Al-Bahadli (Ph.D.) and Deputy Dean for Scientific and Postgraduate Affairs Prof. Muthanna Fadhil Dheeb (Ph.D.) attended the symposium.
The symposium was moderated by the head of the translation department, Asst. Prof. Ahmed Karim Salim (Ph.D.), and Asst. Prof. Ibrahim Talaat Ibrahim (Ph.D.) delivered the presentation.
The symposium discussed the role of the interpreter at wars throughout history in general and in Iraq after 2003 in particular. The lecturer also presented the most prominent challenges that interpreters face in the context of the level of training and the problems that may be encountered during the transfer of information in critical security circumstances. He also highlighted the most important failures that simultaneous interpreters face during military operations. He dealt with the European programme to prepare military interpreters in the military context.
The symposium aimed to provide a comprehensive explanation of the work of the interpreter and how to deal with the military situations between the past and the present.
