كلية الآداب تشارك في مؤتمر دولي
شارك الاستاذ المساعد ابراهيم طلعت ابراهيم التدريسي في قسم الترجمة/ كلية الآداب/ الجامعة العراقية في مؤتمر الترجمة الطبية الدولي الاول الذي اقامته مؤسسة ترجمان العرب في الامارات العربية المتحدة بالتعاون مع ١٢ منظمة دولية من ٢٦ الى ٢٨ / ٥/ ٢٠٢٢ على منصة الزووم.
وقدم الاستاذ المساعد ابراهيم محاضرة بعنوان: (استخدام النظريات الحديثة في ترجمة المصطلحات الطبية: جائحة كورونا انموذجا) ومداخلة بعنوان: الترجمة المجتمعية دور المترجم الفوري في ترجمة ما يقوله المريض النفسي والطبيب النفسي في جلسات العلاج النفسي للمهاجرين واللاجئين.
وتضمن المؤتمر الكثير من المحاضرات والمداخلات القيمة التي قدمها اساتذة الترجمة من مختلف الدول العربية.
وهدف المؤتمر الى تقديم اهم الموضوعات التي تعنى في مجال الترجمة الطبية وكيفية ايجاد الحلول لمشكلة المصطلح الطبي وقدم الاستاذ المساعد ابراهيم مقترحا لحل مشكلة المصطلحات وترجمتها من خلال تأسيس مجلس الترجمة في الوطن العربي الذي يتكون من مترجمين من جميع الدول العربية يجتمعون سنويا لمناقشة مشكلات ترجمة المصطلحات وكيفية ايجاد المرادف في لغة الهدف.
College of Arts Participates in International Conference
Faculty member at Department of Translation/ College of Arts/ Al-Iraqia University Participated in the 1st International Medical Translation Conference organized by Torjoman Al-Arab Foundation based in UAE in co-operation with 12 International Organizations from 26 to 28/ 5/ 2022 via Zoom Meetings Platform.
He presented a lecture as well as a statement. As for the lecture, it is titled (The Use of New Trends of Theories of Translation in Dealing with Medical Terms: Covid 19 Terms As a Model). While the statement was dedicated to (Community Interpreting: The Role of Simultaneous Interpreter in Therapy Sessions of Psychology for Refugees and Immigrants).
The conference included many lectures and statements delivered by Translation professors from all over Arab world.
It aimed at presenting the most important topics with reference to the medical translation and means of answering difficulties associated with the process of rendering medical terms from one language into another. This is why, Assistant Professor Ibrahim proposed a solution concerning the way of finding the appropriate equivalence for difficult terms by establishing The Translation Council in the Arab World embracing translators from all Arab countries where those translators meet annually to discuss problems with regard to translations of terms and means of finding the equivalent in the target language.
