زرنا برفقة نخبة من اعضاء منظمة عيون الثقافة الانسانية  محافظة صلاح الدين يوم الجمعة الموافق 24-3-2017 لافتتاح فرعي المنظمة في قضاء الدجيل وناحية الضلوعية. وافتتحت رئيسة المنظمة الدكتورة نضال العبادي الفرعين في الدجيل والضلوعية وثمنت الجهود المبذولة من اجل العراق والانسانية. وعبر اعضاء المنظمة عن فرحهم نحو هذه الخطوة التي تهدف الى خدمة الانسانية. ونشكر اهالي الضلوعية والدجيل على كرم الضيافة ونسأل الله عزوجل ان ينصر العراق.

 

 

Dhuluiya and Dujail: People of Generosity

We and elite of Culture Eye Humanitarian Organization members paid a visit to Saladin Governorate on Friday 24-3-2017 to open the branches of above-mentioned organization in Dhuluiya county and Dujail administrative unit. Besides, head of the organization Dr. Nidhal AL-Abadi opened the branches and she praised the efforts made for the sake of Iraq and humanity. Moreover, members of the organization expressed their profound happiness towards such great step that aims at serving humanity. Finally, we thank Dhuluiya and Dujail people for the hospitality and we ask AL-Mighty Allah (the God of Universe) to make Iraq victorious.

زار النائب ومقرر لجنة الثقافة والاعلام النيابية الاستاذ شوان الداودي منزلنا مساء اليوم. ورحب الاستاذ ابراهيم البياتي بالنائب المحترم. وتحدث الطرفان عن الوضع الثقافي في العراق ودور الاعلام في نقل الاحداث الجارية. وشكر النائب الداودي الاستاذ البياتي على كرم الضيافة. تحياتنا لك ايها الخال العزيز

 

MP Shwan AL-Dawdi Visit Our House

Iraqi MP and the Associator of Culture and Media Committee of Council of Representative Shwan AL-Dawodi paid a visit to our house tonight. Besides, Mr. Ibrahim AL-Bayati praised the MP. Moreover, both parties held talks concerning the Iraqi cultural trend and the role of media in reporting the ongoing events. Finally, MP AL-Dawodi thanked Mr. AL-Bayati for the hospitality. Our sincere regards are due to my dear and beloved maternal-uncle.

آداب العراقية تقيم ورشة عمل بالتعاون مع آداب المستنصرية بعنوان الترجمة الفورية المشكلات والتحديات

نظمت كلية الآداب في الجامعة العراقية  بالتعاون مع كلية الآداب في الجامعة المستنصرية ورشة عمل بعنوان ( الترجمة الفورية المشكلات والتحديات ) وذلك يوم الاحد 12/3/2017 .

وضيفت الآداب لهذه الورشة الدكتور محمد كاظم العسكري التدريسي في قسم الترجمة آداب المستنصرية بمحاضرة تحت عنوان (الترجمة الفورية المشكلات والتحديات ) اوضح فيها المشكلات التي يواجهها المترجمون الفوريون وكيفية التغلب عليها .

وطرح المحاضر استراتيجيات وحلول للتغلب على تلك المشكلات مبينا ان هذه المعالجات  ستوفر لنا امكانية اعداد مترجمين فوريين اكفاء والتعرف على اساليب وتقنيات الترجمة الفورية وكذلك  التعرف على افضل سبل الوصول الى الدقة والتميز في الترجمة الفورية .

وشهدت الورشة محاضرة للمدرس المساعد ابراهيم طلعت ابراهيم مقرر قسم الترجمة في آداب العراقية بعنوان (انواع الحذف في الترجمة الفورية ) .

وركز الباحث على الترجمة الفورية تعريفها ومفاهيمها  ودور المترجم اثناء هذه الترجمة ومن ثم المعوقات التي يواجهها  وانواع الحذف في الترجمة الفورية وآلياتها لتجنب الحذف غير المقبول .

وحضر الندوة التي ادارها الدكتور ثامر فيصل اسكندر تدريسيو قسم اللغة الانكليزية وقسم الترجمة والطلبة في المراحل المختلفة .

AL-Iraqia Univ. College of Arts Organizes Workshop with AL-Mustansiriya Univ. College of Arts Titled "Simultaneous Interpretation: Problems and Challenges" 

 

College of Arts at AL-Iraqia University organized a workshop in co-operation with AL-Mustansiriya University titled "Simultaneous Interpretation: Problems and Challenges" on Sunday 12-3-2017   

Besides, College of Arts hosted teaching staff member at Translation Department/ College of Arts/ AL-Mustansiriya Doctor Mohammad Kadhim AL-Askari to give a lecture concerning "Simultaneous Interpretation: Problems and Challenges" .He explained the problems faced by simultaneous interpreters and solutions.  

Moreover, the lecturer cited a number of strategies and solutions to overcome the obstacles, he also said that these solutions would help us prepare efficient simultaneous interpreters, get in touch with methods and techniques of simultaneous interpretation and explore best ways of achieving accuracy in interpretation.

The second part of the workshop was dedicated to Deputy Head at Translation Department/ College of Arts/ AL-Iraqia University  Assistant Instructor Ibrahim Talaat Ibrahim and it was titled "Types of Omission in Simultaneous Interpretation".

The researcher focused on the definitions and concepts of simultaneous interpretation and roles of interpreters through interpretation. Then, he elaborated on problems that they face, types of omission in simultaneous interpretation and methods that help them avoid improper omissions.   

The workshop was chaired by Doctor Thamir Faisal Iskandar and it was attended by Translation and English Department teaching staff members and students of different stages.

 قسم الترجمة يفوز ببطولة الآداب لخماسي كرة القدم

حقق قسم الترجمة في كلية الآداب بطولة الكلية بخماسي كرة القدم التي جرت نهائياتها على ملاعب مجمع سبع ابكار لكليات الجامعة العراقية .
وجرت المباراة النهائية التي اقيمت يوم الخميس 9/3/2017 بحضور عميد الكلية الاستاذ الدكتور حسين داخل البهادلي ومعاون العميد لشؤون الطلبة أ.م. د. عصام خليل محمد وعدد من التدريسيين بين فريقي قسم الترجمة وقسم اللغة العربية واسف...رت عن فوز الاول بنتيجة اربعة اهداف مقابل ثلاثة اهداف للفريق الثاني.

وبين مسؤول وحدة الانشطة الطلابية والفنية في الآداب الدكتور عمر صباح جميل ان البطولة شارك فيها فرق من الاقسام العلمية وجرت على ثلاث مراحل وقد افرزت هذه الفعالية للآداب عناصر رياضية طلابية واعدة بالإمكان ان يمثلوا الكلية في البطولات على مستوى الجامعة العراقية وخارجها .

Translation Dept. Wins Arts Futsal Championship

 Translation Department at College of Arts won Futsal Championship where the final match was organized on AL-Iraqia University-Saba' Abkar Complex Stadiums.
Besides, the final match was organized on Thursday 9-3-2017 between Translation and Arabic Language Departments. And it was attended by Dean of College of Arts Professor Doctor Hussein Dakhil AL-Bahadli, Deputy Dean for Students Affairs Assistant Professor Doctor Isam Khalil Mohammad and a number of teaching staff members. Moreover, the former scored four goals against the latter that scored three only.
Furthermore, Administrator of Arts and Students' Activities Unit at College of Arts Doctor Omar Sabah Jameel said that the championship participated by all the scientific departments and it was carried out on three levels. Besides, this activity presented to our college promising players who can represent College of Arts in championships inside and outside AL-Iraqia University

آداب العراقية تبحث آفاق التعاون مع المجلس الثقافي البريطاني في بغداد

بحثت كلية الاداب في الجامعة العراقية آفاق التعاون مع المجلس الثقافي البريطاني في بغداد .

جاء ذلك خلال استقبال عميد الكلية الاستاذ الدكتور حسين داخل البهادلي لمديرة البرنامج الانكليزي في المجلس فيونا روبرتسن صباح يوم الاثنين 6/3/2017 بحضور رئيسي قسمي اللغة الانكليزية والترجمة وعدد من اعضاء الهيئة التدريسية .

وقدم عميد الكلية لمديرة البرنامج شرحا عن خطط الكلية في توفير متطلبات تطوير العملية التعليمية لاسيما في مجال اللغة الانكليزية وترجمتها لحاجة البلد الى خريجين اكفاء يساهمون في البناء والتطور مشيرا الى ان هذا التوجه ينسجم مع خطط الجامعة العراقية وبرامج عملها في توظيف جميع الامكانيات في خدمة مسيرة التعليم الرائدة في الجامعة وكلياتها .

واطلع وفد المجلس الثقافي البريطاني على جانب من حلقات التطور في كلية الاداب وفي مقدمتها مختبرات الترجمة الفورية ,والصوت , ومختبر المعلومات الجغرافية ( Gis) , والحاسبات والتي تعد من المختبرات المتطورة التي وفرتها الاداب ضمن خططها التطويرية وعملها الدؤوب لتوظيف الوسائل الحديثة في خدمة العملية التعليمية

AL-Iraqia University: College of Arts Opens Horizons of Co-Operations with British Council – Baghdad

College of Arts at AL-Iraqia University opened horizons of co-operations with the British Council – Baghdad.
And Dean of College of Arts Professor Doctor Hussein Dakhil AL-Bahadli received at his office English Program Manager Fiona Robertson on Monday Morning 6-3-2017. Besides, the meeting was attended by Heads of English and Translation Departments and a number of teaching staff members.
Moreover, Mr. Dean presented to the program manager a detailed explanation concerning College of Arts plans to providing all the requirements of the educational process especially in the field of English and Translation because Iraq needs qualified graduates contribute to building and developing their country. Furthermore, he also referred to the fact that this goes in harmony with AL-Iraqia University plans and its programs to employing all the resources so as to serve high-quality education in the university and its colleges.
Afterward, the council delegation explored some developmental projects in college of arts such as: Translation, Phonetic, GIS and Computer Laboratories. They are described as the most developed labs provided by the college in order to make use of modern methods in the education process

College of Arts/ AL-Iraqia University Celebrates Iraqi Army Day

College of Arts/ AL-Iraqia University celebrated on January the sixth the day where the Iraqi Army Day was formed. Our army is defined as the fortified fortress of our glorious nation and it had great roles in history. 

 

Having said that, a delegation of professors and students of College of Arts represented by Translation Department paid visits to Iraqi Army Personnel and Police Forces and gave them flowers in the name of the said college so as to express their gratitude to those forces who stay up at night for the sake of establishing peace and security and to appreciate their sacrifice for Iraq in battle fields.

نظم قسم التأريخ في كلية الآداب الجامعة العراقية بالتعاون مع قسم الترجمة محاضرة لطلبة الدراسات العليا ماجستير تخصص حديث ومعاصر   بعنوان (ترجمة النص التاريخي أنموذجا ) القاها المدرس المساعد إبراهيم طلعت إبراهيم التدريسي في قسم الترجمة .

 

وتناولت المحاضرة مفاهيم في الترجمة وأنواع النصوص و آليات الترجمة ودور المترجم فيها وأهمية الثقافات و البيئة الاجتماعية في نقل المعنى بين اللغات .

 

وقال التدريسي إبراهيم طلعت إن محاضرته التي جاءت معززة بوسائل إيضاح  وأمثلة تطبيقية في الترجمة من اللغة الانكليزية إلى العربية ستعطي طالب الدراسات العليا فهماً واضحاً للنص ومن ثم السياق الذي يدفعه إلى اختيار الآلية المناسبة في الترجمة واختيار المفردة المناسبة في لغة الهدف .

 

College of Arts Organizes Lecture about Translating Historical Text

Department of History/ College of Arts/ AL-Iraqia University in co-operation with Translation Department organized a lecture, for M.A students/ Modern and Contemporary History Major, titled "Translating Historical Text" presented by Assistant Instructor Ibrahim Talaat Ibrahim.  

Besides, the lecture dealt with concepts of translation, text types, translation methods, translator's role in translation process, the importance of cultures and the social environment in rendering the meaning from one language into another

Moreover, the lecturer said that he used many means explanation and examples with regard to translation from English into Arabic. And these examples will help M.A students get a clear-cut idea concerning the nature of the text then; they will understand the context of situation that will motivate them to choose the appropriate method of translation and the suitable vocabulary in the target language.
